CRADLE is a registered Scottish Charity that provides support to individuals and couples experiencing infertility. Our organisation is run for patients by patients.
The aim of Cradle is to provide education and support to those with infertility issues or who may be currently going through fertility treatment.
Our group focuses on providing;
- emotional support to individuals and couples,
- up to date information on ‘patients rights’ and
- education in the field of fertility problems and treatment from a wide range of staff from the medical, pharmaceutical and science professions.
We have been asked to promote a survey the aim of which is to "explore the impact of infertility (either in the male or female partner, or both partners) and fertility treatment on men". If you would like to take part, please click here to take survey.
Cradle Meetings are held on a regular basis, normally on the first Thursday of each month.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 1st September at GCRM, 50 Pitches Way, Cardonald Business Park Glasgow, G51 4FD starting at 7pm. Click here to see our flyer for info regarding our meetings in September, October and November.
New members and visitors are welcome to attend and to listen to or question our guest speakers as well as to meet up with existing members who are willing to discuss and share experiences. Please contact a Cradle member beforehand to check for last-minute changes.
For details of other forthcoming and previous meetings see our Meetings page.
We would love if you were able to come along to what are always very informative evenings.
Cradle has a growing library of reference material available for issue or on loan to those who may be interested. You can request an item by completing our on-line form (opens in new window), or by contacting us via the details on our contact us page. If you know of a relevant publication that would be of benefit to our members, use our form to suggest it and we will purchase it - making sure you can be first to borrow it. Visit our 'News and Views' section to read all the latest updates on fertility treatments.
On-line shoppers can help boost our funds by buying through Amazon. In addition to the range of books on subjects of interest to our members (see below), Amazon has a full marketplace offering a full range of toys, gifts, household products, music etc. Have a look by clicking on the link.
